Installation Instructions: 

What you need:

1. Medium Philips screwdriver
2. Small flat-head screwdriver
3. Long nose pliers
   

What to do:

1. First you need to remove the OEM leather armrest lid. Do this by opening the console lid and unscrewing the 5 Philips screws on the underside of the lid, then you can remove the top cover. 
2. Next you need to remove the bottom part of the lid. First, close the bottom part of the lid then you can locate the 2 x small metal hinge pins and using the long nose pliers pull them out. Then using a small flathead screwdriver you can unclip the circlip that's holding the lids arm in place. Now the bottom piece of the lid can be removed.  
3. The remaining lower portion of the lid arm can be left to hang where it is inside the console and under the new carbon cup holder armrest, it'll be unseen and won't matter, but you can put a little blue tack around the end to stop it moving around if you wanted.
4. IMPORTANT: Now clean the areas where the tape will go thoroughly with wax and grease remover or isopropyl to remove all residue. Once thoroughly cleaned you can remove the 3M tape backing (carefully heat the tape with a hair dryer if its cold) and push the carbon armrest firmly down into place and hold for 30 seconds so the tape can set in place. 

**Only the Carbon Cup/Phone holder is included, no other parts shown in the photos are included.

Tips for caring for carbon: All of our carbon is cleared with a UV protectant clear coat. To keep your carbon looking beautiful long term it helps to wax with a UV protectant wax like Autoglym HD Wax (its also what McLaren recommend for protecting the carbon on their supercars), this will give it extra protection from the sun and help to keep it looking good for years to come.
