Supra A80 Front Lip Sandwich Plate Kit – Installation Guide

Before installation, peel off any protective film from the sandwich plates.
We recommend professional installation by a qualified body shop. Ensure appropriate safety equipment is used. Installation is performed at your own risk.
Overview
This kit is designed for use with front lips that fit the factory Toyota Supra A80 front bumper.
Due to variations in aftermarket lips, minor modifications may be required for proper fitment. The sandwich plates are precision-made and should not require modification—any adjustment will typically be to the front lip itself.

- 2 × Long sandwich plates (centre)
- 4 × Short sandwich plates (ends)
Installation Notes
1. Preparation
- Position the front lip onto the bumper.
- Ensure correct alignment before installing hardware.
- Installation is much easier with two people.
2. Mount Plate Placement
- Place the mounting plates on either side of the lip and bumper so they're sandwiched together.
- Long plates (2 pcs): Install across the centre section.
- Short plates (4 pcs): Install at each end (2 per side), with the pointed ends facing outward toward the edges of the lip.
3. Hole Adjustment (If Required)
- Some front lips may require the mounting holes/slots to be enlarged.
- Open holes to approximately 8mm to allow easy bolt alignment.
- Use a drill or rotary burr for clean results.
4. Polyurethane Lip Tip
If installing a polyurethane front lip:
- Warm the lip in the sun for several hours or
- Gently heat it prior to installation
This helps the material become more flexible and conform to the bumper.
5. Recommended Hardware
For best results, use:
- M6 x 30 stainless steel bolts
- Large flat washers
- Nylock nuts
Important Notes
- Ensure all fasteners are tightened securely.
- Periodically check hardware after initial installation.
