The new 'Frosted Titanium GR6' RX-7 key has taken months of trial and error in the media blaster to perfect, but the result has been worth the effort!
Essentially, we developed a multi-stage finishing procedure that utilises varying media types and density, the result is an amazing 'soft and silky' texture to the Titanium that also brings out that unique Titanium colour like never before!
Cutting the key:
- The key 'blade' section is made from Brass (not titanium), this means no increased wear on your locks and ignition (unlike titanium key blades) . This also makes it much easier to cut than titanium key blades.
- The key MUST be cut from the 'Key Code' and NOT 'Copy cut' from the old key (that causes too many issues). You can get the 5 digit 'Key code' from the passenger door lock (a 15min job, Google it if unsure how - this assumes your passenger lock is original). A good locksmith can also 'DECODE' your old key to get the code, then cut the new key from the 'Key Code'.
